Scott Chapin

Scott Chapin began his career in mortgage lending more than thirty years ago. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a BSBA in finance, he worked for savings and loans, a mortgage insurance company, and a mortgage lender, prior to coming to ComplyShare.

Scott's career has included working in all aspects of the industry. He has originated, processed, underwritten, collected and serviced mortgage loans. While at a savings and loan, he priced portfolios for sales and acquisitions.

When Scott worked for a private mortgage insurance company, Scott was a project analyst, division underwriting auditor, and contract underwriter. This experience broadened his experience and enabled him to become the Quality Control Manager for a large southeastern lender. He was the Quality Control Manager there for over 16 years prior to joining ComplyShare in 2009.

During the past several years, Scott has been a member of MBAG and GREFPAC. He is a past president of MBAG’s Quality Control Committee.
